According to Indonesian news site Windows 9 will be available free to owners of Windows 8. 
Detik.com published a statement & confirming this news. After Google Translation of that article Windows 8 will update automatically to the new edition to Windows 9.




This is not specified that the upgrade will apply to windows 7 or Windows Vista Owners
